Background
Pennine Data started in 1992 when Nick Hill graduated from Bradford University (Information Systems Science). Nick used to work in engineering and found himself being progressively more involved in developing software to solve engineering and business problems. Before graduating, several companies approached Nick to develop computer solutions - hence the birth of Pennine Data.
Our skills cover many facets of information technology. These include, but are not limited to:
- PC's and PC networks.
- Web-sites, internet & intranet applications.
- Databases and SQL-Server.
- Data acquisition & control, data communications, real time systems.
Nick was until he retired from the ICE recently an Incorporated Engineer (MICE) with the Institute of Civil Engineering. We are fully conversant with quality management issues involving the use of ISO900x/BS5750 and UKAS within an organisation.
